Georgie Lee Humphries Saunders' Obituary
Georgie was born on October 7, 1925 in Clifton, Texas to Agnes and Tom Humphries. She was the first of 3 children. Her two brothers, Leon and Tom, preceded her in death. She moved to Dallas where she met and married Gordon D. Saunders. They had three children, Judy Yamamori, Gordon D. Saunders, Jr., and Connie Saunders. Gordon Jr. preceded her in death last year. She was a long time member of East Dallas Christian Church and worked for Southland Life Insurance for many years. She is survived by her daughters, her grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home and funeral service will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Restland Abbey Chapel
