I met Jed many yeas ago in MA., we worked together, traveled the USA together on business, and he even met me in Beijing, China many years back. He always made me feel happy to be around, and was a man I could trust. We had even planned on having a little reunion in the next month or two. Jed, It was a pleasure. My condolences to his wife and Children.
What a shock. Doesn’t seem possible. When my Dad passed away last December, I found his collection of Jed’s CD’s. I am now in possession of them, and will treasure them forever. When I received in the mail from Jed a copy of Calla’s Waltz, I was honored. His love for Louisa and family is one to be admired. My sincere sympathy for the entire Marum family.
Loving thoughts and prayers for the family at this heartbreaking time. Jed was one of the most extraordinary men I’ve ever known, a kind and loyal friend. The collective soul is poorer for his loss.
Gerald( Jed)’s life touched many people. He was a wonderful musician and performer he was also wonderful songwriter, but most of all he was a wonderful person. He was a good friend and I will miss him sorely. He was always generous with his time when we were performing at different venues. He was willing to help and he loved what he was doing. I spoke to him last week and he was excited about his upcoming trip to Scotland. However, the thing he was most excited about was that Louisa would be going with him. My heart goes out to her and the whole family.
