Gerald Leeson Myers Sr.'s Obituary
MYERS, GERALD LEESON Of Plano, Texas passed away 9-1-2009. Visitation/Rosary 7pm on 9-4-2009 and Funeral Service at 2pm on 9-5-2009 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Plano. Born May 6, 1932, in Alton, Il. to Ruby Martha Farris and Luther Leeson Myers. He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly, his parents, his sister Marjorie, and his granddaughter Rachel. He is survived by his children Mary Myers and Jerry Myers of Plano, and Paula (Myers) Zendle, her husband Joseph Zendle, and his two grandchildren Sarah Anne & Zachary Leeson Zendle (Castle Rock, CO). Gerald served his country as an Air Force B-25 Pilot. He became an Information Technology Manager and taught at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee for 24 years. Gerald loved volunteering at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum and was Volunteer of the Year in 2000 and 2001. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
