Geraldine Jolly Bolding's Obituary
Geraldine Jolly Bolding left Midland, Texas for her heavenly home on October 21, 2013. Geri was the first born to Margie (Land) and Leslie Bryant. Born August 18, 1925 on the family farm in Denton County she weighed less than 2 lbs and given little chance of survival. Geri was reared and educated in Dallas, Texas. Her children rejoice in the assurance that she knew the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior from a very early age. She was baptized at age 9 and began teaching 10 year olds in Sunday School at the age of 14. This for her was a lifelong joy. Geri married Jack Jolly on Sept. 7, 1943. Two wonderful sons blessed this marriage; Richard and Michael who were the loves of her life. In 1970 she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack after 27 years of marriage. In 1980 she married Horace Bolding of Dallas, Texas who preceded her in death in 1993. Geri is survived by loving family-Richard Jolly wife, Linda and granddaughter, Ashley; Mike Jolly wife, Denise and granddaughter, Alissa Field her husband, Bryan and great grandchildren, Ella and Brody Field. Geri’s pride and joy was her family. The life she lived was a testimony in both word and deed of her devoted commitment to her precious savior and to her loving children. We will miss her. Services were held in Dallas, Texas.
