Geraldine "Gerri" Colon's Obituary
Geraldine Colon (Gerri) age 86, passed away on November 7, 2025 in Richardson Texas. She was born on April 24, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to Earl and Ola Land. Gerri was raised in North Dallas with siblings Phyllis, Sandra and brother Val Gene as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins (a large family).
She married James Colon, February 20th, 1960, in Dallas, Texas. Shortly after their marriage she attended El Centro College taking courses to become a nurse. She became an RN in 1962 which began her career at Baylor Medical Center Dallas for 40 years. Gerri retired in 2005.
Gerri is preceded in death by: her loving husband James (Babe), mother Ola, father Earl and sisters Sandra, Phyllis and brother Val Gene as well as many other relatives.
She is survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday December 5, 2025, at 2pm in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
