Geraldine "Jerry" Newberry's Obituary
Geraldine ‘Jerry” Newberry was born on May 07, 1928 in Dallas, Texas and passed away on March 8, 2015 in Plano, Texas She is preceded in death by her mother, Irma Cain; father, Johnny Cain; husband, James Newberry; and sister, Dorotea Gromatzky. Jerry is survived by her children, Janis Newberry, Joan Marie Gray, and James Allen Newberry; grandchildren, Julie Ponder, Melinda Aviles, Kristine Cochran, Lorraine Boris, and eight great grandchildren. The visitation for Jerry will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service for Jerry will be at 12:30 PM on Friday, March 13, 2015 in The Wildwod Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with interment in the Garden of Ascension, Restland Memorial Park, immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness.
