Geraldine Gibson Young's Obituary
Geraldine Gibson Young, age 89, of Dallas, passed away on October 2, 2018.Geraldine was born in Dallas to Burl and Johnnie Gibson on June 11, 1929. She met a young boy and soon married the love of her life, Lester, on November 17, 1946.Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents Burl and Johnnie Gibson husband Lester Young, and her younger son, David Bryan Young.Geraldine is survived by Lester Bruce Young and his wife Kathy. She also is survived by three granddaughters, Aimee Suzanne Harl and her husband Casey, Amanda Lynn Cantrell and her husband Scott, and Leslie Ann Cooper, as well as five great-grandchildren, Linda, Cynthia, and Casee Harl, Zoe Cooper, and Travis James Tovar.Geraldine will be missed by friends, neighbors, and caregivers but most acutely, she will be missed by her family. The family will receive guests on Sunday, October 7, 2018, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Restland Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018, at 10:00 AM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
