Gerasimos George Mihos' Obituary
Born on July 17, 1936 in Nafpaktos, Greece and passed away on January 31, 2009. He served in the Greek Army, moved to Australia, where he met and married his wife of 44 years, Pagona, in 1964. There they had their first of three daughters, Vickie, then moved to Texas where they had their other two daughters, Sophia and Sammey. He owned the successful Three Bros. Paint Contracting business and was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, where he enjoyed his membership in the Nafpaktian Brotherhood and volunteering for the annual Greek Food Festival. George was also passionate about his hunting and gardening. George is preceded in death by his parents, Gerasimos and Stavroula, and sister Areti. He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Pagona; his loving children Vickie and Jimmy Velis, Sophia and Peter Zafirides, and Sammey Mihos; and his pride and joy, his grandchildren, Konstantino and Angelina. George is also survived by Sotirios and Tasia Sotiropoulos and their family, and a brother and sister in Greece. George was a loving husband, father and grandfather who dedicated his life to the happiness and success of his beautiful family. “Don’t you worry, BaBa”. May his memory be eternal- -Zoi Se Sas! Pallbearers include Chris Alexandris, John Alexandris, Tom Fox, Kostas Mavrikos, Dimitri Reppas, and Frank Zoys.
