Gerri Lord's Obituary
Gerri Lord, born November 10, 1939 in Cullman County, AL, passed away on March 29, 2011 in Rowlett, TX. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bill Lord, daughter Donna and son-in-law Robert Hooper, son David and daughter-in-law Lori Lord, brother Jim and sister-in-law Sandra Brock and brother Bill and sister-in-law Joyce Brock, 4 granchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents Herbert and Bonnie Brock and sister Shelby Rainey. Gerri was employed in the insurance industry for many years and retired in 2002 from Southwest Airlines Benefits Department. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 3:00PM at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel with Phillip D. Mercer officiating. The interment is to follow at Restland Memorial Park.
