Gertrude Alice Jenkins' Obituary
JENKINS, GERTRUDE ALICE Born March 23, 1914 in Keechi, Texas to John and Catherine Keils and passed away March 1, 2008 at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jenkins, 2 sisters, brother and parents. Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her daughter, Mozelle Vance and son-in-law, Milton; sister, Rachel Snider; nephew, John Snider and wife, Patricia, Lancaster, TX & many more nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces & nephews in Texas, Wisconsin, California and Oregon. She was a high school graduate of Keechi, TX. Mrs. Jenkins worked as a payroll clerk for many years at S.H. Kress Company Department Store and up to the closing of the company. She is a long time member of Rogers Baptist Church of Garland. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, March 7, 2008 at Restland Wildwood Chapel with the Rev. John Campione officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
