MACHOST, GERTRUDE AMELIA BLANER Born January 17, 1923 in Yoakum, TX and raised up in Eternal Life, April 30, 2012. She is survived by 5 children: Milton Jr., Keith, Brenda Kroll, Dennis and Nancy Taylor; blessed with 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Gertrude was preceded in death by the love of her life, Milton, both sisters, Lillian and Margie and 1 grandson, Luke. Married to Milton Machost “Mac” March 1, 1941 and had 68 glorious years together. She was fortunate enough to raise 5 children with only working outside the home for a few years part time. Her favorite hobbies were crocheting, sewing, gardening fishing and watching the Texas Rangers. She enjoyed her volunteer work with the Disabled American veterans in Bonham and at the Tawakoni Library. Gertie’s biggest joy was her family and spending time with them. Viewing and family gathering will be from 11:00AM to 12:00PM, Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 1:00PM at The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 421 Custer Rd, Richardson, TX 75080. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in the Garden of the Trinity. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Plano Senior Center Council, 401 W. 15th Street, Plano, TX 75075, 972-941-7155.
