Tula touched so many lives in the very best way. I’m grateful I got the chance to know her as both a colleague and a friend. I met her in 1992 when I started teaching. Tula encouraged me to transfer to a new school to get new ideas and experiences in other neighborhoods. Tula told me always to go where I find happiness and support as a bilingual teacher. Please accept my deepest condolences. May she rest in peace.
