Mr. Gifford Kenneth Johnson's Obituary
Born June 30, 1918 in Santa Barbara, California; passed away July 26, 2009 in Mount Kisco, New York. Gifford worked for many years as an engineer, working for Chance Vault, LTV, and the University of Texas at Dallas. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving Gifford is his wife, Betty; son, Dane Johnson and wife Ann; daughter, Janet Heutel and husband Jim; grandchildren, Heather Rogers, Erika Ortado, Evan Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kayla Ortado, Dalton Rogers, Parker Rogers; and daughter-in-law, Marilyn Johnson. He was preceded in death by his son, Craig Johnson; as well as his parents, Elvin and Rosalie Johnson. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 until 6:00 pm, Friday, July 31, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. A service will be held in Gifford’s honor on 11:00 am, Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Preston Hollow United Methodist Church, 6315 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX.
