Ms. Gladys Ruth Farris' Obituary
Born on May 28, 1923 in Olean, NY, and passed away on October 13, 2007 in Dallas, TX. Gladys was a cancer survivor and spent her time volunteering for the American Red Cross and the VA Hospital. She was with the VA Hospital as a volunteer for 25 years, 15 of which she spent at the chapel every Sunday. She is preceded in death by her brother, Bill Waldren, and sister, Betty Jones. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Sherrill and Patricia Davenport; grandchildren, Amy Davenport and Beverly Rasnick; great-grandchildren, LaVona Rasnick, Jaimes Rasnick, and Alison and Elizabeth Simpson; brother, George Gualdren; extended family, Mary Carter and her family.
