Gladys Emogene Moore's Obituary
Gladys Emogene Moore, better known as “MaMaw”, passed away on November 28, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was a resident of Sulphur Springs, Texas.Gladys was born January 11, 1923 in Witts Springs, Arkansas to Louis Crow and Pearl Castro Crow. She married Rodney L. Moore on January 04, 1939 in Wills Point, Texas.She is survived by her daughters, Beverley Trollinger and husband, David of Sulphur Springs, TX; Joyce Hill of Calacasas, CA; Carolyn Jones of Sulphur Springs, TX; and daughter-in-law, Danah Moore of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Rodney L. Moore, and her son, Rodney D. Moore.She worked in a preschool at Pleasant Wood Baptist Church in Dallas, TX, for many years and later prepared and served food at the Senior Citizen Center in Timpson, TX for 15 years.She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Services for Mrs. Moore will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Restland Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park.Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Rodney Moore, Gregg Hill, Jeff Trollinger, Greg Johnston, great grandsons, Max Moore and Kyle Wittmer. Honorary pallbearers are Matt McDaniel and KAden Trollinger.We will welcome visitors Saturday at 10 AM, preceding the service.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Wounded Warriors.
