Glen Dale McNeil's Obituary
Glen Dale McNeil was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, son of Charley Roy and Myrtle Lee McNeil. He graduated from Lawton High School and Cameron College. He served in the Navy during WWII. After his discharge, he made numerous moves with Western Union until he settled down and he lived most of his life in Mesquite Texas. He was an avid bowler and tennis player. He retired from Western Union Telegraph and enjoyed traveling with his lovely wife, Lois. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Merl McNeil and his son, Howard McNeil. His is survived by his wife of 66 years Lois McNeil; his son, Don McNeil and daughters in law, Edna McNeil and Susan McNeil; his brother, Bob McNeil and sister, Betty Branstetter, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Services will be held at Restland Cemetery in the Wildwood Chapel at 3:00 on Friday November 9, 2018.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Association.
