Glen Harold Shields' Obituary
SHIELDS, GLEN H. Born February 10, 1925 in Greenville, TX and finally succumbed after battling pneumonia on August, 14, 2008 in Dallas, TX. Glen served in the U.S. Army in the 7th Calvary during World War II and was a member of St. Phillips United Methodist Church in Garland for 39 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar ‘Ed’ and Eula Shields and 3 brothers, Bob, Jim and Kenneth Shields. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Billie A. Shields; children, Stephen Shields and wife, Andrea, and Lisa Good; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Peggy Eley and brother, Charles Shields. Glen was loved by many. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM, Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home.
