Glenda Faye Timbes' Obituary
Glenda Faye Reynolds Timbes was born on December 15, 1944 to Joe and Dora Reynolds. She grew up with her baby brother Larry Reynolds and her parents in the Dallas Ft Worth area. She graduated from Grapevine High School. She worked as a bookkeeper in her adult life. But, her greatest joy was becoming a mother. She welcomed her son, Charles “Chad” Timbes into her life on February 14, 1970. Her special valentine. She married the love of her life, John Timbes Jr. on November 14, 1973, and she gained three more children, Lisa, Andrew Jason, and Brad. The Timbes family spent most of their lives in the Dallas area, with a short stay in Northern Georgia. As her family grew, she gained even more as a Grandmother. She had 13 grandchildren, one great grandson, and a great granddaughter.
Glenda is proceeded in death by her parents Joe and Dora, her wonderful husband John Jr. and son Andrew Jason.
She is survived by brother Larry Reynolds, and two nieces Kim and Brandy. Daughter, Lisa Timbes Zapata and her daughter Elizabeth. Son, Brad Timbes and wife Cheryl, and their two children Grant and Hailey. Son, Charles “Chad ” Timbes and wife Carrie, and his six children, Shariden, Janie, Trista, Kaitlyn, Logan, and Austin. Her grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Daniel and Ashlynn. Her great grandson Zayden, and great granddaughter Luciana.
Glenda is cremated and will be laid to rest with her husband John Timbes Jr at the Dallas-Ft Worth National Cemetery. There will be a memorial at the Mexican Inn (her favorite restaurant) @ 1400 Airport Freeway Bedford, Tex on February 11, 2024 at 12 pm.
