Glenn Russell Moon's Obituary
Glenn Russell Moon 92 of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday morning November 19, 2014. He was born to Judson Garland Moon and Ruth Hunter Moon on March 3, 1922 in Okemah, OK. He was a member of America’s greatest generation, serving in the US Army Air Corp during World War II. He married and moved to Dallas in 1962 where he was a manufacturer’s representative until he retired at age 83. He and wife Lorene were longtime members of John Calvin Presbyterian Church. He is predeceased by his parents; 2 sisters; 2 brothers and 2 nephews. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lorene; son, Steve and wife, Anna Marie and grandchildren, Amanda and Jenna, all of Richardson, TX and nephew, Larry Moon of Houston, TX. The visitation for Glenn Moon will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. The graveside service for Glenn will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday December 1, 2014 at Restland Memorial Park with a memorial service at 1:00 PM at John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 4151 Royal Lane at Midway, Dallas, Texas 75229. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238. Family request memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s assoc.
