Glenna Ann Southard Peterson's Obituary
Glenna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend; a compassionate, courageous, and thoughtful Christian. She inspired and encouraged many all the way to the end of her journey here.
Glenna battled esophageal cancer for two and a half years. Her journey involved multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and proton treatments. She battled on for others (especially her grandchildren) rather than herself.
Her family is grateful for the time we had with her. We were especially moved by the comfort and care shown by her many doctors as all treatments were exhausted.
Glenna is survived by her husband; Anthony Peterson of Parker, Texas, Sons; Erik Peterson of Wylie, Texas and Kevin Peterson of Richardson, Texas and her brothers; Paul Southard of Lenexa, Kansas and Ralph Southard of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
