Glenna is preceded in death by her beloved father Glen Eugene Tibbits, step-father Duane Burnett, nephew Brian Keith Bridges; and her very best friend Karen Smith. Glenna is survived by her mother Wilma Burnett, sister Diana and her fiancée Danny Schobe, brother Chris and his wife Mandy, brother Bob and nieces and nephews Kelly and Alicia, Amie and Ryan, Chris and Tonya, Russell and Allison, Taylor, and Jordan; and her great nieces and nephews Carley, Jack, Ashlyn and Grant, Peyton and Kaleigh. She is also survived by extended family and friends from Dallas to Nebraska. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Denton State Supported Living Center, 3980 State School Rd, Denton, TX 76210 in the name of Glenna Jean Tibbits. The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses and other caretakers at the Denton State Supported Living Center for their love and care for Glenna as well as the hospice nurses who treated Glenna with incredible dignity and respect in her final days. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
