Gloria Ann Holder Dennison Ming's Obituary
Gloria Ann Holder Dennison Ming, 83, of Dallas peacefully passed away at home on March 25, 2023, after a battle with cancer.
Gloria was born in Jackson, TN on May 3rd,1939 to Fannye Sue and Ralph L. Holder. She attended Kenton High School in Kenton, TN. She obtained her ARRT certification from Methodist University School of Radiologic & Imaging Sciences in Memphis, TN. After certification, she was an xray technician in Memphis and then later in Dallas before starting a family. She was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Farmers Branch. Gloria had a lifelong passion for antiques that she and her husband, Eddie turned into a business.
Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Fannye Sue & Ralph L. Holder, her first husband, Charles R. Dennison and stepson, Colin Ming.
She is survived by her loving husband, Eddie R. Ming; her sister Glenda ( Lynn) Pinson, her brother Ralph B. ( Susan) Holder; her two children Susan (Jim) Day, Scott ( Dana) Dennison; two stepchildren, Kevin Ming, Coby Lee( PJ Knight) Ming; 6 grandchildren, Jeff Rhodin, Georgia ( Frank) Burke, Jack ( Allison) Robertson, Joe ( Sharon) Robertson, Mason Dennison , Callie Dennison; 4 great grandchildren, Penny, Hank, Ruth, Charlie; her nephews, Michael Pinson, Stephen ( John) Pinson, Hunter Holder and niece Jennifer (James) Sheffield.
Gloria will be greatly missed by her family, friends and Precious, her miniature Schnauzer, who gave her great comfort and was by her side until the very end.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 10th, 2:00 -4:00 pm at Restland Reception Center, 9220 Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
