I am so sad to hear of the passing of Jeanne. We went to school together during junior high, high school, and college. We always enjoyed that we shared the spelling of our name. I have memories of her sweet personality and friendship. I can quickly recall her ready smile and laughter. My prayers are with you, her family. May God give you strength and peace in the days ahead as you go through this time of sorrow.

Jeanne and I went to high school together and she was so much fun. I remember several incidents when she was the life of the party. Her smile and laughter would light up the room. I am so sorry for your loss. May your memories sustain you at this time. My husband was also a high school classmate of hers. She will be missed but not forgotten. Bud and Betty Beavers
She was the best mom a girl could ask for and and amazing grandma. So grateful. Even though I only had her 42 years they were quality years and the short time she had with my boys I am certain has made them better people and someday better men. We will always love you and you will always be with us.

Thank you so much for this. I needed a laugh. I would love to hear more!
I am so sorry to hear Jeanne is gone. She was one of the very best friends I've ever had. She and I were friends from 1st thru 8th grade in El Dorado. In high school, we spent our spring breaks together and I visited her at OU once. We found each other on FB several years ago but hadn't gotten together. I wish we had. I have many stories but one was during the 8th grade. Jeanne and I decided to go to the Dairy Queen at midnight. Neither of us could really drive but since we both had driven a little, we thought we'd figure it out . My grandmother lived next door and was gone for the weekend, so we took her car. You know what happened: caved in the whole side of the car just getting it out of the garage. Jeanne went home the next day and jerked her home phone line out of the wall so my parents couldn't call her parents. Such a friend! We bicycled and logged many miles walking the mile and a half between our houses for years. We'd walk and meet each other half way. Such good times growing up in El Dorado. God bless and keep your family during this time. Melinda Jones Beggs melbeggs46@yahoo.com
