Gloria A. Davis Tillery's Obituary
Gloria Ann Davis Tillery went to be with her Lord on July 24, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on November 15, 1938, in Grapevine, TX, Gloria was the beloved daughter of Walter Ernest Davis and Helen Carol (Brink) Davis.
Gloria’s life was marked by love and dedication to her family. She was first married to Philip Ray Jones, with whom she had four wonderful children. She found love again with Lon Arthur Tillery. Both of her beloved husbands preceded her in death, as did her parents.
Gloria is survived by her two sons, Philip David Jones of Haltom City, TX, and Douglas Alan Jones of Rockwall, TX; her two daughters, Laura Gay (Jones) McKinnon of Midlothian, TX, and Emily Ann (Jones) Doudt of Van Alstyn, TX. She also leaves behind her cherished sisters, Joanna Lynn Davis of LaDonia, TX, and Carolyn Sue (Davis) Smith of Mansfield, TX.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Philip, Lacy, Zee, Krysta, Drew, Dylan, Stephen, Joseph, and Nicholas. Gloria was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first great-grandchild, baby Bucy, who is on the way.
A memorial service to honor Mrs. Tillery will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10 AM at Restland Funeral Home's Wildwood Chapel, located in the cemetery at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243.
