Gloria Ward's Obituary
Gloria Ann Nottingham was born in Sherman, Texas on December 8 1936. She grew up with her sister Jean Hunter. December 4 1966 she married Howard Ward & together they would begin to grow their family. Gloria was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured all of her family, and embraced every moment with them. She loved the Dallas Cowboys, and game days were the best days. Gloria was an incredibly talented artist, and enjoyed painting ceramics or pictures. She was no doubt the life of the party, and hosted numerous events as the years past by. Gloria always made friends wherever she went, and never forgot their names. Being the hard worker she was, she spent over 25 years at Lone Star Vendors. She didn’t just live on this earth, her sparkle and love changed it. On September 13 2019 The Lord called her home. She had 5 children; Amber Eddings, Jason Sheffield, Shannon Cope, Glenn Ward & Brett Ward. She had 10 Grandchildren; Ryan Cope, Chris Ward, Jenny Ward, Brittany Ward-Amigh, Andrew Sheffield, Megan Sheffield, Michael Eddings, Ethan Eddings, LM Eddings, & Katie Eddings. From those Grandchildren she was blessed with 10 Great Grandchildren. All of these she loved and touched deeply. We will celebrate her life, love & legacy on Monday September 16th from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Restland Funeral Home 13005 Greenville Ave in Dallas. Restland.
