Born January 31, 1934, to Harry and Ester Botkin in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Verlan “Zip” Zapotocky. She is survived by sons Mark Zapotocky and wife Polly; Bruce Zapotocky and wife Jane; daughter Beth Frink; grandchildren, Nathan Zapotocky, Erin Zapotocky, Adam Zapotocky, Robin Zapotocky, Josh Frink, Alicia Frink; brothers Gerald Botkin and wife Janet; Ronald Botkin and wife Lois; Toby Botkin and wife Marge and numerous nieces and nephews.
