Glyndol Joe Taylor's Obituary
Taylor, Glyndol Joe passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 as a result of a stroke. He was born on March 25, 1928 to Joe and Essie Taylor in Cooper, TX. He served in the U. S. Navy in China. Joe was the regional inspector general for the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services until his retirement in 1992. Survivors include two sons, Robert and his wife Vickie of Richardson, and Bill and his wife Kathy of Spring, TX. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and was expecting his first great-grandchild in two months. He is also survived by his brother, L. G. Taylor and his wife Edna of Del Rio, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Essie Taylor, his wife of 51 years, Margie Taylor, and his granddaughter, Ann. A time of family visitation will be held at Restland Funeral home on Friday December 21, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A graveside service will be held on Saturday December 22, 2012 at 10:00 am at Restland Memorial Park followed by a memorial service at the Waterview Church of Christ, 1409 N. Waterview Drive in Richardson at 1:00 pm.
