Glynn Ledbetter's Obituary
Glynn Ledbetter was born on May 4, 1916, celebrated her one hundredth birthday this May, and died on June 11, 2016. Her life was a life of faithful service to her family, church, and friends, living out her faith in a God of Love. She was the rock of the family, and her love, concern and guidance will be sorely missed. Glynn is survived by her children, Carolyn Downing and husband Tom, Paul Ledbetter and wife Debbie, Bill Wells and his children William and Jacqueline, and Marilyn Ledbetter whose home is the Denton State Supported Living Center. In addition are her grandchildren David Downing and his wife Annie and their sons Hosea and Jesse, Amy Downing and husband Grant and their two daughters Ariana and Rebekah, Katherine Ledbetter-Cho and her husband Chris, and Michael Ledbetter. There are also nieces, nephews, and cousins that love her, too. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Ledbetter, her parents, six Sneed brothers, and four Sneed sisters. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Spring Valley United Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. Memorial donations may be made to Spring Valley UMC, Volunteer Services Council of the Denton State Supported Living Center or Network.
