Goldie J. Huie's Obituary
HUIE, GOLDIE J. of Richardson, Texas went to be with Our Lord on Aug. 19, 2011. She was born Jan. 9, 1935 in Howland, TX, the daughter of the late Wes and Goldie Stanley of Cooper, TX. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill Huie of Richardson, two sons Steven Wayne Huie of Coppell, TX and William Scott Huie of Montgomery, TX, two brothers Vernon W. Stanley of Tyler, TX and William A. Stanley of Kingwood, TX and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Janie D. Stanley Buster of Paris, TX, and brother James Walter Stanley of Cooper, TX. Jean had a passion for her many years in accounting, but her true and enduring love was for her children and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 2:00PM at Arapaho United Methodist Church, Richardson, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name for ALS research through the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
