Goria Lee Ransom, age 96, passed away on June 19, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on August 20, 1921, to Mr. Bud Ransom and Mrs. Villie Ransom, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.Goria Lee Ransom loved the Lord, and was a faithful member of Southern Hills Church of Christ, where she was the oldest member. She also worked at The Statler Hilton for 25 years. Goria was a very caring and loving mother, grandmother and aunt, and was a trustworthy provider. She was the go to person for whatever answer you needed, she could remember everything. Goria will be missed by many.She was preceded in death by her parents, Villie and Bud Ransom; sister, Eddra Lee; brothers, Frazier Ranson, Weldon Ransom, L.A. Ransom and sons, Floyd and Troyce Weeks.Goria is survived by her sons, Albert Randle, of Dallas, Texas and Herbert Hashway, of Dallas, Texas; many nieces, nephews and friends; special friend Joyce Ridley and a special Aunt.
