Grace Cleary McAuliffe's Obituary
Grace McAuliffe, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, was carried home by our loving Father on October 21, 2021. She loved and cared for everyone she met, as she lived a life of service to God and her family. Each month for 11 years, Grace prepared meals and birthday cakes for the residents of Aids Services of Dallas. Grace will be remembered for her sparkling eyes, beautiful smile, and sweet spirit. Her legacy of love and kindness will carry on for generations, as we emulate her generosity and compassion for others. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and John Stark, and her grandparents Fannie and Otto Kircher. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Jack McAuliffe, her son, Danny McAuliffe of Richardson TX, her 3 daughters, Mollie McAuliffe of Midland TX, Amy and her husband Ken Smith of Garland TX, and Sara and her husband Tony Arnold of Aledo TX, as well as her 8 grandchildren, John McAuliffe and his fiancée Paige Hoffpauir, Kirk Smith and his wife Ashley, Brenton Smith and his fiancée Sarah Houghton, Devin Arnold and his wife Brittany, Caroline Arnold and her fiancé Austin Alexander, Elise Smith, Avery Arnold, and Brice Smith. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Rita Catholic Community on November 3rd at 11am. A private graveside service will follow at Restland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alz.org support Alzheimer's research and care.
