ROGERS, GRACE AMOS “GRACIE” was born June 21, 1915 to Richard M. and Nellie Amos and passed into the arms of the Lord January 23, 2007. She was born in Rocky Hill, KY., moved to Dallas at and early age and graduated from Oak Cliff High School in 1935. Gracie was a longtime employee of Dr. Pepper Co. where she made many friends. She was a member of Northway Christian Church and preceded in Heaven by her husband, Gordon W. Rogers. Graveside Service: 2 PM Friday, January 26, 2007 at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Nevus Outreach, Inc., 1601 Madison Blvd., Bartlesville, OK 74006, www.Nevus.org. Gracie is survived by her daughter, Jackee Nickolson; son, Dean Rogers and his wife Kim; sisters: Elizabeth Williams, Ruth Sims, and Faith Rowland; grandchildren: Arthur and Sharon Leyhe, Randy Leyhe, Roger Leyhe, Joey Letart, Kimberlynn Rogers, and Matthew Rogers; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
