Gracie Marie West's Obituary
Born 1/21/1921 in Bruley St. Martin, Louisiana. Met and married the love of her life, Eskel Lee West on 11/26/1944 in Bonham, Texas. Settled down in Dallas, Texas in 1954. After the death of Eskel in 2002, she lived with her daughter and son-in-law and moved back to her Cajun home town. She resided the last four years at Heritage Manor of Napolianville, Louisiana. She passed away quietly on October 23, 2015. She was proceeded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Eskel Lee West, brothers Wilson Baker and Gibson Landry, grandson Emerson Sanchez. She leaves behind her daughter, Beverly and husband Ricky of South Carolina, grandchildren Layla and husband Michael Clowers of Oklahoma , Ernest LEE and wife Letha Hebert of South Carolina, from Louisiana, Elizabeth Sanchez, Paul and wife Lisa Sanchez, Cindy and husband Harold Robinson, Shannon and Lashawna Sanchez, Brittney Sanchez and Brandon Sanchez. She had 19 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 9:30 AM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
