Graciela Islas, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on April 16, 1943, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Mauricio Rodriguez and Catarina Ybarra in Dallas, Texas. Graciela Islas will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years Jose L. Islas Jr., son Roman Islas, daughters Monica Porras, Dora Thrash, grandchildren Valerie Crisp, Priscilla Islas-McGaughy, Garrison Thrash, Jillian Thrash, Alexis Islas, great grandchildren Natalie Crisp, Graycen Islas, Adeline Crisp, sisters Ageda Flores, Paula De La Torre, brother Eraclio Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her parents Mauricio and Catarina Rodriguez, sisters Manuela Chavoya, Jinia Guzman, Maria De Jesus Sanchez, brothers Refugio Rodriguez, Fransisco Rodriguez.
Visitation for Graciela Islas will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 11:30 AM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.
