Graeme Conrad McRae, 19, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away suddenly at home on Nov. 23, 2024. Born March 10, 2005, in Dallas, Texas, to Richard McRae and Tagni McRae, Graeme was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin. Read Obituary
I only knew Graeme for a short amount of time. I knew him from Math Club, and he was so amazing. He was so determined and so focused. Whether that be with his schooling or just hanging out.
I remember we had our Math Club picnic, and he rode the bus all the way there to get to the picnic. From studying in the library to singing at the picnic, he was always such a great guy to be around.
He's still in our hearts. God bless him and God bless all of you.
I miss you Graeme. School isn’t the same without you. I wish we had more time together on this earth. I miss your jokes, your quirky personality, your questions in class, our conversations, walking together, opening doors for you, your help in lab, your laugh, your smile, I just miss you and seeing you and being around you. Thank you for being my friend, I am forever grateful to have known you. I wish we still had the opportunity to spend the next two years together and graduate together but Instead I am just happy that your earthly struggles are no more and that you’re with Jesus happy as ever.

My thoughts and prayers are with y’all. Graeme was beautiful with the most wonderful soul. I know that he was surrounded by love and care from y’all through his life and that is why he shined so bright. I am so deeply sorry for y’all’s loss, I hope y'all are doing well.
I work at the UNT math department and it was always delightful and comforting to see Graeme's beautiful smiles. Seeing Graeme's dedication to pursue wisdom, knowledge and excellence has always been, and will always be, inspiring to me. Goodbye, friend. You precious kindness and brilliance in every aspect will always stay with us.
Working in the UNT Math Office, I saw Graeme almost every day. He was always in the General Academic Building's 4th floor atrium, working out math problems at the chalkboard. Sometimes he worked alone but often with other engaged with other students. They worked together to find a solution and to learn from each other. His easy smile and twinkling eyes will be missed. The atrium will never be the same.
Precious boy, I have been blessed to know you as a student at Creekview. Your contagious laugh and smile would light up the room. You shall fly high in the arms of our Father. Prayers for your family and friends to find comfort in this very difficult time. Nurse Melissa
