Grant was such a fun and happy person to be around. I met him 9th grade during our honors geometry class. He was so silly, such a goofball. We would always get in trouble for talking and messing around by our teacher but still he made class fun. He was my prom date senior year 2006 and to this day I don't think I could have picked a better companion for that day. I will forever keep him in my mind and all the beautiful times we shared.

I will always remember Grant as the bright and talented writer of his generation at Hughston elementary. He wrote some of the most sensitive and best English compositions I have ever read during those years. Our son Nicholas Bodiford always had a connection with Grant and we enjoyed seeing him at our house from time to time. He was always greeted with a big hug. Nick and the rest of his school friends are at a loss for words, it's hardly believable. We will miss Grant and remember him as a gentle giant. Sending you our condolences The Bodiford Family.
