Gregg Alan Averitt's Obituary
Gregg Alan Averitt, age 63, of Dallas, Texas passed away on October 3, 2020 after a battle with cancer.
Gregg was born on January 10, 1957 in Washington DC to the parentage of: Gene Ray and Patricia Ann Averitt. He graduated from Lake Highlands High School and attended college at Northwestern University. Gregg worked in the car business for 30 years and the roofing industry for 15 years.
Gregg is preceded in death by his brother, Brad Austin Averitt.
He is survived by his sons: Wesson Averitt (Jordan) of Dallas, TX; Matthew Averitt of Dallas, TX; grandson, Easton Alan Averitt; sister, Lisa Tatum (David) of Dallas, TX; nephews, Michael Tatum and wife, Ashley; Drew Tatum and wife, Kim and David Tatum Jr.
