Mr. Gregory Allen Birt, 40, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2019, in Richardson, Texas. He was born on Thursday, November 23, 1978, to his loving and thoughtful parents, Thomas W. Birt and Annette Etter in Indianapolis, Indiana. Gregory graduated from Union High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He enjoyed music and performing arts. Greg loved all kinds of movies, especially Star Wars and he was an avid dog lover.Greg is preceded in death by his father, Thomas W. Birt and his beloved dog Trinity.He is survived by his mother; Annette Birt, his sister; Candace Southern and other family he loved. Greg will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.Visitation for Mr. Gregory Allen Birt will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 8:30 AM at Restland Abbey Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 12, 2019 at 9:30 AM in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (2105 Luna Rd #390, Carrollton, TX 75006 – 214-373-1400) and the First United Methodist Church of Richardson Music Department (503 N Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080 – 972-235-8385).Funeral arrangements for Mr. Gregory Allen Birt have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
