If it wasn't for Mr. Morris, I probably would've ever picked up another book in life. In middle school I was a problem child, and he made me feel loved. He taughtt me how to escape from what was happening in my life, by placing myself into books acting as if I was the main character. This stuck with me. He was someone special to me, it has been a little over a year now since the last time I seen him, getting this news has been a complete shock to me. I had to stop what I was doing becuase I owe all my awards and most of my success to him. He gave me a second chance when no one would. Remembering me when no one didn't. He will greatly be missed. Gone but not forgotten. May he Rest In Peace. I love you Mr. Morris
I knew Greg at Sunset and considered him a good friend. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
Greg was a great guy he was polite and great to work with.He will be greatly missed may god bless you and your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I attended school with Greg from Stevens Park on.
I am so sorry to hear of Greg's death. I am praying for friends and family. May God bless you all.
I remember Greg as a wonderful classmate and friend throughout Stevens Park Elementary. Our 7th grade boys beat the Dad's Club in a softball game. Greg's part was key to the victory. Hoping your treasured memories bring you comfort day by day.
He was one of my teachers at Greiner Middle School. Tough, but fair. It was only until I grew older that I realized he pushed so hard because he cared so much about us students. Great man, one of my best teachers ever. My condolences to the family; may his soul rest in peace.
Patrick, Our deepest sympathy and prayers for your loss. Please know that we love you and are thinking of you. The Conn family
My fondest memories of middle school always included Mr. Morris. When I started to need glasses, he would let me borrow his – no questions asked. His smile and his personality always brightened up our days. He would take us on field trips that included watching plays, and in his classroom – there was always music. This, to a kid from a bad part of town, was like opening up new doors and opportunities. I always wanted to go back and thank him for being such an inspiration- even now. I'm deeply sorry for your loss. The world could use more teachers like him. He will be deeply missed and forever in my heart.
