Grffin Ray Shaw's Obituary
Griffin Ray Shaw went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 6, 2016. He was bom in Dallas,Texas to Bryan and Joli Shaw. He is survived by his parents, brothers Lukas and Cal Shaw, grandparents Mitzi Mays and Buddy Mays, Guy and Elaine Shaw, Great Grandparents Jim and Sarah Erwin, and Raye King (his namesake). Also survived by uncles Will Mays, Gus Mays and King Mays, Aunts and Uncles Trey and Denise Shaw, Andrew and Melody Shaw, Jake and Jenna Shaw, and Matthew and Brittany Shaw. His cousins include Bryan David, Alexander, Lily, Stuart, Knox, Van and Lola Shaw. He is also survived by countless other great Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Griffin was born with a rare genetic syndrome that affected his cognitive and physical development. Despite the fact he could not talk, his smile and infectious laugh could light up a room. Although his accident took him to his heavenly home, he will forever be remembered and has made an everlasting impact on everyone that came into contact with him and beyond! We also have faith that he is fully restored and can now run and sing. We would like to thank all of those that have cared for Griffin over the last 5 1/2 years: Dr. Joseph Hanig (especially Sharon), Scottish Rite Hospital, ISW Academy, HPUMC Night O.W.L.S, his therapists at Cook Childrens Home Health, Childrens Medical Center, especially Dr. Darryl Miles and Dr. Patricia Evans. His memorial service is at Northwest Bible Church on Monday, July 11th at 3pm. located at 8505 Douglas Ave, Dallas Texas.
