After serving in the United States Air Force, he started his practice August 3, 1956.He loved our mother with his whole heart. She came first. He loved her legs! If she were here she would say he survived damn near everything. Dentistry was his second love and he considered his staff family. He loved his staff and patients and missed them so much throughout retirement. He would often get the photos of all patients from his retirement party and name each one of them and tell you about their lives, children, etc. He was a true type A. He said things like Make a Move and Plan Ahead! He loved to ski and took to it immediately, keeping his skis together in perfect formation. He wanted us to all ski that way and was so proud of each of us.He loved to read, golf, ski, taste wine and of course a little Stoli tonic. He loved music and had his own band. Mother said she could never get close to him because all the girls were around him at the piano. He was proud to serve his country. He was proud to be a Texan. He would cry telling his own story with joy when he talked about all the people who taught him, helped him or just made an impact on him.He is our hero! Our father is the most of everything good God could put into one person. We will miss him very much and be proud that we had such a wonderful father to set examples for us, to be tough love and still have a soft place to fall. It makes sense that he was in heaven just in time for Father’s Day.Thank you to all caregivers. Special love to Marisela Perez who made his days happier when she cared for him. She is family. The visitation is Thursday June 28th from 600-7:30 pm at Restland on Greenville in Dallas, Service in Memorial Chapel on Friday June 29th at 11:00 am.
