Grover was an amazing Christian man. As a registered engineer His business skills were also evident. He taught me to look at the exit strategy of an investment first; list the 3 best features and 3 worst outcomes of an investment; look for hidden hinderances to success; and what are the best reasons to commit capital beside profit.
I served on the executive committee on Goodwill board with him for years and the Trinity Christian Academy Trustee Board with him for years as well. In the early years of Trinity in Addison, Texas, his leadership and commitment was evident. I remember Grover and his sons installed some utility lines to help TCA get going strong. Grover was big about TCA getting out of debt and staying out of debt.
He was wise and very thorough in his analysis of problems to solve well beyond real estate skills. A good friend and mentor, he will be missed. God gave him a long & productive life and he leaves behind large shoes to fill .As a believer now in heaven he can look down and enjoy the many ways and people he helped along the way.
He will be missed.
