Guadalupe H. Castillo's Obituary
on July 5, 2017, after a beautiful life that included a devoted wife of 62 years, three crazy daughters, six spoiled rotten grandchildren (spoiled by grandma and grandpa obviously), three great-grandchildren, a son-in-law who became his own, retirements, milestone wedding anniversaries and a whole lot of love, Lupe Castillo made his way back to the lord. Anyone who knew him knew that he was always a friend to be counted on, whether you were a neighbor or the local pharmacist. Lupe was the epitome of a man’s man with a heart of gold, who loved to fish, knew his way around a firearm and loved to tell a good story to anyone who would listen; and everyone wanted to listen. He was a kind man who had truly lived and anyone and everyone he touched feels blessed to have known him. He is survived by his wife, Irma; daughters and sons-in-law, Elsa and Ernest Onderdonk, Nadina Castillo, Sonia and Quinton Bullard; grandchildren, Lisa Worth, Jarrod Watson, Renee Watson, Christina Castillo, Jennifer Bullard and Darrell Bullard; great-grandchildren, Zane Day, Kendall Day and Kadence Worth; brothers and sisters, Elida Davilla Conception Castillo, Bruno Castillo, Frank Castillo, Oscar Castillo, Alfonso Castillo, Abraham Castillo, Heron Castillo and Joaquin Castillo. The family will receive fiends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, July 7, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Guadalupe Castillo will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 8, 2017 in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
