Guadalupe Lopez was the best dad and grandfather any family could hope for. His heart was big and strong and led his life with faith, truth and dedication to his family. He was a man of little words but his actions spoke loud and clear for his family. We are grateful for all the moments he shared with us: Happy Family Vacations, Celebrating his love for Christmas with lots of decorations and lights, always having Braun’s ice cream in the freezer for the kids, “Watching Law and Order” while eating peanut M&M’s, being a father figure for many of his grandkids, teaching us how to work on outside projects, Family dinners at Luby’s, Night time runs with “post toasties” with bananas, Slipping grandkids a $20 bill every now and then, and seeing him running around in his famous blue work shirt and pants!
A quote from his grandkid:
“You were the strongest hardworking man I know and thank you for teaching me the value of hard work and how to work with my hands!”
“This is an example of how many lives this man touched why we all have great memories of him and will miss Guadalupe Lopez! We love you Dad and Grandpa Lopez!”
A Memorial Service will be planned for the future and posted here once available.
