Guadalupe Tamez Montoya's Obituary
Mom enjoyed cooking and baking for her children while she was a housewife to her 6 children and husband. As the years passed, her 4 older children grew up, got married and started their own lives. She began to work to provide for my 2 younger siblings as the cook for the Fathers at her Catholic church for 5 yrs. After that they grew up and made their own lives too. She worked as a private care giver to her lady friend's daughter's. They would hire my sweet mother to care for their mothers while they worked to provide for their families, my mother was loved by many people that knew her humble and kind heart. Now all her friends are long gone like the wind. My mother enjoyed her retirement surrounded by her loving children that are now grandparents themselves. My dearest loving mother departed leaving behind 6 children Marcos A. Montoya & wife Jackie Montoya, Martha A. Montoya-Cervantes, Maria A. Montoya-Gaytan, Mario A. Montoya & wife Lisa Montoya, Melva A. Montoya-Kinjo, Miguel A. Montoya & wife Sonia Perez-Montoya and 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She enjoyed coloring, storytelling and telling vintage jokes. We will miss her laughter and beautiful smile; her legacy will continue to fill our hearts with her presence and joy of life. Thank you, God, for your gift to us with such a superb mother who gave us nothing but unconditional love, guidance, protection, values and prayers. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends and those who knew and loved her.
R.I.P. my sweet mother you're now in Paradise.
