Guy Williard Guiling's Obituary
Guy Willard Guiling, age 93, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2019. He was born on July 19, 1926, in Cleveland, Arkansas to Golden and Zora Guiling. He was the oldest son of seven children. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Eunice Cody Guiling, brother, Norman Guiling, daughter, Brenda Guiling Miller and her husband Terry, son, Douglas N. Guiling and his wife Ellen. Guy had five grandchildren, Stacy Randel, Chad Miller, Jenny Cho, Rebbie Guiling and Joanie Barnes. He also had two great granddaughters, Mia Miller and Maya Cho. He loved his family above all else and was affectionately known as “Honey”.After serving in the Navy during WWII, he worked in the oil industry for many years. He then pursued a career in commercial heating and air conditioning with Lennox Industries.He was a tinkerer, could fix anything, a pool shark, a McDonalds and Braums regular, an avid photographer and family historian, a slalom water skier, and a camper extraordinaire.He was a kind, generous and honorable man who loved nothing more than to be helpful to others.
