Gwanetta Tipps' Obituary
TIPPS, GWANETTA born September 29, 1919 in Scottsboro, AL has passed away November 19, 2013. She was a 1937 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. Preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Tipps; parents, Essie and Felix Austell; son, Al Tipps; brother, Clyde Tipps and sister, Pauline Hunt. Gwanetta is survived by her son, Lee Tipps and wife, Marva; sister, Jerune Allen; grandchildren, Kimberly Tipps, Lindsey Mendenhall and husband, Kent, Jonathan Tipps, Kevin Tipps and Andrew Tipps; three great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Restland Memorial Park.
