Gwenda Lynn McRae's Obituary
MCRAE, GWENDA LYNN, was born May 6, 1948 in Longview, TX to parents Willie S. Thompson and Edna Johnson Thompson. Gwen was a FAITHFUL member of Greenville Avenue Church of Christ for more than 28 years and worked tirelessly in many areas of the congregation. Kenneth McRae and Gwen were married July 11, 1970 and have made their home in Plano, Texas for the past 29 years. Gwen leaves to cherish her memory; husband, Kenneth, daughter, Chantal D. Cruthird (Robert); grandchildren, Alexandra D. Cruthird, Robert E. Cruthird II, and Jonathan Michael Cruthird; parents, Willie and Edna Thompson; sisters, Helen Williams (Gary) and Jackie Dulin; grandmother, Mineola Johnson; and many other family members and friends. Gwen is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ladel Johnson. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held 11:00 a.m. at Greenville Avenue Church of Christ 1013 S Greenville Ave, Richardson, Texas on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 with interment following at Restland Memorial Park.
