Hal Jeffrey Williams' Obituary
Hal was born August 4, 1953 to William (Bill) and Lila Williams in Bisbee, Arizona. He met Anita Durbin in Abilene, Texas and they were married February 19, 1977 in Abilene, Texas. They moved to Dallas in 1979 to be closer to family. He was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church of Forney, Texas; Hillcrest Church, and Hebron Covenant Community.Hal enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and in Bible study, organizing Christian songs and making CDs for friends and family, and loved playing games and cards. He was also an avid fan of Texas Longhorns, Texas Rangers, and the Dallas Cowboys.He had an extraordinary love for his two children. Always begging for them to move back home.He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lila Williams; step-father, Blacky Roberts; nephew Sgt. Wesley Durbin; father in-law, Roy Durbin.Hal is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Anita Williams; daughter, Chessa Williams and partner Tamara Baker; son, Landon Williams and fiancé, Marcela Reyes; grandchildren, Reilley and Caden Williams; brother, Bill Williams and wife, Linda; sisters, Glenda Tannery and husband, Ron; Deborah Gist and husband, Ken; mother in-law, Margaret Durbin, brothers in-law, Randy Durbin and wife, Carole; Devin Durbin, and sister in-law, Marie Durbin and husband, David. In addition, Hal is survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving in-laws.
