Hallie Louise Haynie's Obituary
Hallie Louise Haynie died peacefully on April 27th, 2015. She was born January 2, 1913 in Houston, Texas to Kate Buchannon Wood and Robert Henry Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her four siblings, Harry, Katherine, Rosabelle, Robert, her niece Patricia Denham Luce and her husband of 56 years George Elton Haynie. She is survived by Gregory, Sara and John Luce (her great nephews and niece) and Alexander, Theodore and Connor Luce (her great-great nephews). She was a long time resident of Dallas, Texas and a member of Lover’s Lane United Methodist Church since 1949. Hallie loved her church, her family, gardening and bridge. In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to make gifts to Lover’s Lane United Methodist Church in her memory or to any charity of their choice. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road.
